Russell Joseph Engle, Sr., age 71, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 4, 1949 to Marion Russell and Francis Mary Engle (nee English). Russell was a hard worker and he lived and breathed softball. He loved car racing, spending time with his family and will be remembered most by being the kindest person with the biggest heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, John Engle, sisters, Gloria Eggleston, Dinky Matz, and Claire Coffman, and brother, Earl Engle.
Russell is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Bishop-Engle; son, Russell Joseph Engle, Jr.; grandchildren, Burgundy Engle, Ryan Engle, Jamie Engle, Austin Engle, Erick Engle, Russell Engle III, & Amber; great-grandchild, Shawn Engle; brother, Dale (Cathy) Engle; brother-in-law, Harold Coffman; and a host of other family members and friends.
No services will be held at this time.
