Obituary

Preston Alan Reed, Sr., 76 of Burlington, KY passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. He was a 1963 graduate of Holmes High School and retired conductor from L&N/CSX Railroad. Preston served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was a classic car and railroad enthusiast and he enjoyed hiking at Red River Gorge and Clifty Falls. Preston was preceded in death by his wife: Beverly Jean Reed; brother: James Reed and parents: Preston and Georgene Reed. He is survived by his children: Preston Alan Reed, Jr., Dustin (Shannon) Reed, Stephanie Finke and Marcey Reed; grandchildren: Brennan, Tyler, Ava, Reese, Bennett, Damien and Kylah Jean and great- granddaughter: Joslyn. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), Kentucky 41015.
