Phyllis Ann Wood, 80, of Covington, KY, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Covington on October 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Vincencia Current. In addition to working as a Nurses Aid, Phyllis was also a dedicated Homemaker who strove make her home a happy and loving home to be in. Phyllis will always be remembered as a giving and strong woman who loved children, animals, dancing and camping. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Newt Current and Danny Current; sisters: Jackie Taylor and Marlene Whittle and grandson: Andrew Turner. Phyllis is survived by her sons: Chuck (Vonda) Morris, Danny Morris and Matthew Wood; daughter: Tonya Harris and Robin (Roger) Turner; brother: Frank (Jenny) Current; sister: Kay (Jim) Rademacher; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
