Obituary

Nicholas John Zimmerman, 59, of Independence, KY passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was the former owner of Zimmerman Construction. Nick was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, spending time at his second home at Lake Waynoka in Sardinia, OH, but what he loved most was spending time and building things with his brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Monica L. Vogt Zimmerman. Nick is survived by his loving wife: Dana Zimmerman; children: Nichole (Josh) Zimmerman-Jones, Tesara (Chris) Short, Nick (Ashley) Reinhart and Brandon (Twyla) Franz; siblings: Katherine Vonder Meulen, Christopher (Jayne) Zimmerman and Andrew (Cindy) Zimmerman and grandchildren: Hannah, Matthew, Dakota, Ayden, Eli, Lily, Kali, Ryah and Josiah. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 12:00 PM (Noon) until the Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
