Obituary

Larry W. Waters, 74 years of age, entered into rest on Monday, July 12, 2021 at St. Elizabeth
Medical Center, Edgewood. He was born in Kenton County, Kentucky to his late parents, Winfield
and Garnet Waters. Larry is also preceded in death by his twin brother, Gary Waters and another
brother, Danny Waters; sisters-in-law, Laura Lee and Karen Doolin; brothers-in law, Daniel Kloeker
and Timothy Kloeker. Left to mourn to Larry’s passing are his loving wife of 49 years Marsha Waters
(neé Kloeker); his sisters-in-law, Linda Freeman (Rob) and Patty Gilliece; his brothers-in-law, Mark
Kloeker (Sherri), Dennis Kloeker (Karen), Ted Kloeker (D’Anna), Michael Kloeker, and Gary Kloeker;
his niece, Melinda Amrein (Dan); nephews, Jason Waters (Jamie) Bobby Waters, and Timothy
Waters; and many extended nieces and nephews. Larry was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, golfer,
and musician who enjoyed Bluegrass music and playing his blues guitar. He also had a great love for
boating, water skiing, archery and was a former weight lifter. Visitation will take place on Thursday,
July 15, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, beginning
11:00 a.m until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Mother of
God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Larry’s memory
are suggested to The Point Arc, 104 West Pike Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011. Online
