Jean A. Brames
Erlanger - Jean A. Brames, 92, passed away peacefully at Baptist Village in Erlanger,
KY on April 18, 2021. Jean was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 29, 1928 to the late
George H. and Helen K. Wehking. During her life, Jean graduated from Western Hills
High School and was the president of her sorority. She later was a homemaker, worked
as an innkeeper and enjoyed gardening. Jean was preceded in death by her husband
Robert J. Bromes and her brother Roger Wehking. She is survived by her children Paula
(Bill) Leifrig, Nancy (Bob) Swartzel, Mike (Annie) Brames, Todd (Anza) Brames, and Matt
(Katherine) Brames, grandchildren: Barbara, Dennis, Jeff, Mark, Liz, Dan, Jon, Stephen,
Sean, Shannon, Jason, Julianna, Ryan, and Wyatt, 16 great grandchildren, and sister Lois
Sweet. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Mother of
God Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to 1 Medical Village Dr. Edgewood,
