Obituary

Elaine Adale Armstrong, 71, of Bromley, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newport, KY on August 19, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Marian Deaton. Elaine was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, gambling at the casino, camping, boating and watching Reds Baseball and Bengals Football. In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her brother: Danny Deaton and sister: Kathy Wagers. Elaine is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years: Frank Armstrong; son: Brian Armstrong; daughter: Frankie Toadvine; sisters: Debbie Williams and Darlene (Darryl) Allen; grandchildren: Bryson Armstrong, Justin (Jordan) Toadvine and Alyssa (Austin) Jackson; great-grandchildren: Lyla Jackson and Hudson Toadvine; her beloved dog: Dozer and her large extended family. A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 4:00 P.M until the Memorial Service at 6:00 P.M. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011. Due to state Covid-19 Mandates a face covering must be worn inside the Funeral Home. Temperatures will be taken at the door.
