Obituary

Edward "Knute" Hacker, 88, of Covington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice in Edgewood, KY. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. Knute was the owner and operator for over 50 years of Community Dry Cleaners at 15th. & Holman in Covington, KY. He was also the Secretary for the Mother of God Cemetery Board of Directors, a member of St. Benedict Church, a member of the St. Benedict Holy Name Society, a member of the St. Benedict Festival Committee and volunteered with St. Benedict Bingo. Knute is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years: JoAnn Herzog Hacker; son: Ed (Sandy) Hacker; grandchildren: Brittany Hacker and Alex Hacker and several nieces and nephews. A Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2018 form 9:00 A.M. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Church, 338 East 17th Street, Covington, KY 41014.
