Obituary

Christopher Robert Heidenreich, 49, of Independence, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was a member of Holy Cross Parish and was the Store Manager of Remke Markets on Turfway Road in Florence, KY. Chris was a baseball coach for Oddsox and co-creator of the Wednesday Night Sports Facebook Page. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan who cheered on the Bengals, Reds and Duke Blue Devils. Chris was preceded in death by his father: Jerry Heidenreich; mother: Carol Sittason and brother: Dustin Kennedy. He is survived by his loving wife: Rachel Egbers Heidenreich; children: Zach Egbers, Griffin Heidenreich, Grant Heidenreich and Owen Heidenreich; siblings: Mike (Michelle Byrd) Heidenreich, Connie (R.J. Lovell) Kennedy, Stephanie Heidenreich, Matt (Leah Sowers) Heidenreich and Paul Duivenvooden. Also surviving Chris are his step-father: Bill Sittason and step-mother: Debi Heidenreich. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Entombment: Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY.
