Mary Helen Von Handorf (nee Schilling), 91 years of age passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, July 5, 2023 with her loving family at her side. She was the loving wife of 70 years to Ed Von Handorf. Loving mother of Mike Von Handorf (Dianne), Debbie Abeln, Diane Grimes (Marty), Mark Von Handorf (Kathy), and Denise Coyle. Loving grandmother of Kris Abeln (Tonya), Jason Abeln (Kelly), Liz Ansari (Camron), Rob Grimes (Jackie), Kyle Von Handorf (Christina), Michael Grimes (Samantha), Keith Von Handorf, Kevin Von Handorf, Lauren Fotsch (Ben), Alex Coyle, Justin Coyle, Alicia Von Handorf, Jacob Von Handorf and Danielle Coyle. Loving great grandmother to sixteen. She leaves behind a brother Jim Schilling and was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Schilling and brother Ralph Schilling. Mary Helen was a devoted wife and mother and one of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren. Memorial mass will be Thursday July 13th at St. Agnes Church in Ft. Wright at 5:00, Entombment will be at Mother of God Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright are handling arrangements.
