Obituary

Gladys M. Hill passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 95.
Born on June 23, 1929, in Mason County, Kentucky, Gladys spent most of her life in the Maysville area.
On July 12, 1973, she married Joseph D Hill Jr. II in Covington, Kentucky. They shared many years together until his passing on May 15, 2007. In March of 2020, Gladys relocated to Plano, Texas, to be closer to her son.
She is survived by her daughter, Treva Poe Bauer and husband, Gary; her son, Nieman O. Poe, and wife, Karen; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Her daughter and grandchildren reside in the Ohio area, while her son and family lives in the Plano, Texas area.
Per her wishes, Gladys will be entombed without ceremony on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Mother of God Cemetery Mausoleum in Fort Wright, Kentucky.
