Obituary

Cathy Gastright Rump, 68, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and a retired registered nurse having served in various medical areas of the nursing profession. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her family, horseback riding, camping and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Mary Lou Gastright and daughter: Lisa M. Rump. Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years: Steve Rump; children: Stephen (Lindsay) Rump, Jr., Jennifer (Brian) Gaskins and Rachael (Mike) Ziegler; siblings: Debbie (Rick) Kennedy, Mark (Karen) Gastright, Mike (Theresa) Gastright, Julie (Randy) Ives, Lisa (Mike Gosekamp) Gastright, Terrie Gastright Hill and Jeanne (Gary) Lenhof; grandchildren: Brooklynn, Brady, Anthony, Blake, Austin, Bryce, River, Cameron and Rowan and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Holy Cross Church. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY.
