Obituary

Anne Marie Sullivan Goedde, 99, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence. Anne was born on October 6, 1922 to the late Joseph and Clara Sullivan in Norwood, Ohio. She was an 80 year member of St. Anthony Parish in Taylor Mill, KY. Anne was a 1940 graduate and salutorian of Holy Cross High School and recipient of a full scholarship at Villa Madonna College. Anne was an avid reader, crossword puzzler and former secretary of St. Anthony Church. She loved to bowl, travel, and watch Wheel of Fortune. She was best know for being an excellent cook and baker of pies. Anne was preceded in death by her first husband: Joseph Arlinghaus, who was killed in WWII; second husband: Earl Joseph Goedde, who was also a WWII Veteran; son: Michael Goedde and brother: Harry Sullivan. She was a wonderful mom to and survived by: Joseph (June) Arlinghaus; Colette Hernandez; David (Mary) Goedde; Theresa Goedde; Mary Susan Hansel and Anthony Goedde; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 11 AM with eulogy starting at 10:45 AM at St. Anthony Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Burial will follow in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Anne's name may be made to St. Anthony Church Building Fund.
