Obituary

Anna Rita Raley (nee Carrico), went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at the age of 100, just short of her 101st birthday in February. Rita was a loving wife to the late John Athel Raley. She leaves behind her daughters, MaryAnn Denny (Charles), Jackie Peterson (Jerry), and Jeannine Robinson (Donn). She was the beloved grandmother of Sandy Wood (Mark), Michelle Lee (David), Gina Mitchell (Steve), Christy Buck (Robert) and Brain Robinson as well as 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 11 siblings. Rita spent many years working as a waitress. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She will be remembered as a wonderful woman with a very sharp mind. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US HWY 42, FLORENCE, KY 41042. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 7301 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042. Entombment at Mother of God Cemetery.
