oyce Carol Knasel McCord, 84, of Latonia, KY, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Joyce was an avid bowler at the former Bowlounge in Latonia, KY. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, (who also raised her): Clem and Gertrude Jackson; father: Edward Knasel; mother: Thelma Jackson and husband: Gene N. McCord. Joyce is survived by her sons: Mark (Holly) McCord and Dirk McCord; granddaughter: Rachel McCord Kennedy; great-granddaughter: Rosalie Conn and her loving dog: Julie. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, 11 East Southern Avenue, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015. Interment will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Fort Wright, KY. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society c/o cancer.org.
