Obituary

Sue Craven, 90, of Taylor Mill, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. She was a retired medical secretary with the sleep disorder clinic at Bethesda Oak Hospital and a member of Holy Cross Parish. Sue was a member and past president of the Holy Cross 50+ Club, past president and member of the St. Helen's Society and member of the Boone County Senior Book Club. Sue was instrumental in the forming of the first Parish Council at Holy Cross Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Everett J. Craven, Jr.; parents: LeRoy and Mabel Briede; children: Dennis Craven, Evey Craven, Chrissie Craven and Michael Craven; siblings: Joe Briede, Sally (Ed) Hill, Jimmy Briede and Michael Briede. Sue is survived by her children: Tim (late: Judy) Craven, Connie (Bob) Riesenbeck, Julie (Bob) Henry and Kathy Craven; siblings: Jerry Briede and Nancy (late: Charlie) Collett; sisters-in-law: Mary Briede and Barbara Briede; daughter-in-law: Bea Craven and Martha Craven. 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Holy Cross Church, 3612 Church Street, Covington (Latonia), KY 41015 from 3:00 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 5:00 PM. Interment: Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY.
