Obituary

Judith (Judy) A Hiles of Park Hills, KY passed away July 28, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on June 16, 1952 to the late Robert and Mildred (Landgraf) Fangman. Her loving husband, Gailen Hiles, preceded her in death by 2 years. Judy is survived by her beloved daughters Michelle (Josh) Smith and Mindy (Corey) Fry. Her cherished grandchildren Hunter and Hannah Smith, Eli, Emelyn, and Susan Fry, and her siblings Dennis (Vicki) Fangman, Nancy (Dave) Bass, and David Fangman and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Independence. A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia. A celebration of life will take place after the burial in the undercroft of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Independence.
