Mary “Bird” Von Bokern

December 16, 1954 - August 15, 2025

Bird passed away on August 15, 2025. She is survived by her daughter Nicole (Scott)

and three granddaughters; three brothers (Bo, Jerry and David) and three sisters (Betty,

Darlene and Shirley). She also leaves many beloved family members, including nieces,

nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many, many friends.

One of Bird’s most beloved roles was being the best Nana to her three granddaughters.

She also loved spending time with her nephew, Zac, and all the fun things they would

do together.

Bird was always scouting to see who she may help next or be able to lighten their load

in any way. She would give you the shirt off her back!

We will all remember Bird for her sense of humor, her loyalty and her willingness to help

almost anyone.

Services at Don Catchen Funeral Home, 3525 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018 on

Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Interment at Mother of God Cemetery on Wednesday August 20,2025 at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Remnant Baptist Church, 120 Clay Lick Road, Owenton,

KY 40359 would be greatly appreciated!
